13th September marked the official release of "Her Waiting List", sequel to "Her Long Goodbye", on Amazon as well as the official launch party. The party was attended by various guests, including a published author. The delicious dessert was handcrafted by a friend of Nicola's who works at one of the city's well known bakeries. There were two parts to the cake - a heart and a book. It is rumoured that Nicola has frozen the book cake, which has the book title on it, and that she will eat it at her engagement party (whenever that may be and whoever that maybe to!) as a symbol of her relinquishing her own waiting list. But we will see.
