If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter you would have seen photos of my beautiful cat Rue, who is 15 months old. I was just having a browse through some photos and I've realised a lot of them are her doing 'human' type actions, such as trying to put a letter in an envelope, using a pillow as an actual pillow, using the toilet (as a drinking bowl and I'm hoping this behaviour has stopped), playing Foosball, sitting at the table waiting for her dinner (I just want to say she never gets fed at the table!), checking herself out in the mirror and sitting at the table waiting to be read to. Check out the photos below to see what I mean. All these quirky behaviours make me wonder what she will be like when she is older. Will she be walking on hind legs, using a knife and fork, using the toilet as an actual toilet and reading me a story? Clearly the answer is no, but I still can't help but wonder what quirky things she will do in the future and it does make me wonder how much of our behaviours cats/dogs etc see and then try to copy.
